You can’t talk about Latin America without mentioning one of the fastest growing economies – Peru.
Although the startup ecosystem in the country is still relatively young, waves are being made as mainly local universities and private sectors are increasingly focusing on tech companies to help their students become innovation leaders in their field, and to also create the country’s next great export in the tech field.
As such, we have compiled a list of the top incubators and accelerators in the country to help foreign and local startups make headways into the country’s tech ecosystem.
Who: Emprende UP is the startup heart of the Universidad del Pacifico which offers a 6-month incubation program to innovative, dynamic, scalable startups. Emprende UP also has a strong list of angel investors within their community to help startups gain a foothold, this includes crowdfunding initiatives.

Who: The Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurial Development is part of the Universidad Catolica del Peru initiative in offering an incubation program that aims to accelerate the development of innovative companies with high growth potential.

Who: Hub UDEP is the University of Piura’s incubator program for budding startups.

Who: The Universidad Nacional Mayor de San Marcos runs an incubator program – 1551 Peru which aims to accelerate growth of its startups through a curated program.

Who:Tufelis is an incubation program run by the National University of Trujillo with funding of between USD 13,000 to USD 30,000 to budding startups.

Who: UTEC Ventures is a startup accelerator of the University of Engineering and Technology in Peru that offers a 3-month intensive personalized program for budding startups. UTEC Ventures has since helped over 54 companies expand with a portfolio of over USD 80 million. UTEC Ventures also concurrently runs various other workshops and programs as well

Who: The Venture City offers a 5 month Product-Led Growth Program. The boutique accelerator invests USD 100k in exchange for 6% equity of the company, whilst supporting the startup with various programs and advice.
