TechLATAMAsia is a bilingual platform focusing on bridging the gap between Latin America and Asia in the tech space. Our aim is to provide insights into these two tremendously dynamic and exciting emerging market regions through exclusive interviews, infographics, and other value-added content, while fostering a vibrant community of business leaders, entrepreneurs and investors across both regions, to promote greater collaboration and business links between Latin America and Asia.
Founders
Born and raised in Singapore, Jeremy spent 5 years working in business development for the Asia Pacific market before deciding to make a jump back to South America, where he did an exchange program in Chile while studying Marketing and Psychology at the Singapore Management University. He has been in Chile for four years and is currently Business Development Manager (LATAM) for a Singaporean AI company, Graymatics.
In his previous role as Commercial and Projects Director of an international consultancy firm in Chile, he was involved in helping international companies to do business in the region, including companies from Indonesia to Peru, Colombia, Chile and Argentina; and guiding Latin American companies on their business development activities in Asia. He also cofounded the Chile-ASEAN Chamber of Commerce, where he placed Chilean students in internship programs throughout Southeast Asia.

A Singaporean citizen, Karen has spent the last 10 years studying, working and living abroad. She read Philosophy, Politics & Economics at the University of Oxford and subsequently spent six years working with a UK-based strategic business publishing company in the Energy and Healthcare verticals, where she interviewed over 1,500 C-level executives and other senior industry stakeholders personally in 10 countries, including China, Mexico and Brazil; developed strategic business reports and PR solutions; and managed field and special projects, as Senior Business Director.
She is currently based in Mexico City as Program Manager for Latin Leap, a VC studio looking to support the entry of Southeast Asian tech start-ups into Latin America.
